It can be used for both rinse off & leave on applications like shampoos, conditioners, cold creams, lotions, moisturizers etc.
Use Level: 0.75% to 2.0 %.La’PHEN CG (INCI : Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol)
La’PHEN CG is a unique liquid preservative formulation which consists of phenoxyethanol and an emollient base. The combination of these ingredients provides optimized protection against microbial growth from bacteria and yeast. It gives the finished product exceptional feel. It can be used alone and functions synergistically with other preservatives. La’PHEN CG is applicable for use in a variety of personal care preparations such as aqueous and anhydrous systems as well as emulsions.
Use Level: 0.75% to 1.5%.La’PHEN CS (INCI : Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid+ **)
This preservative functions particularly well in slightly acidic formulations, and is globally approved. It offers effective broad spectrum protection against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and mold while imparting emolliency to finished formulations. None of the blended products have been tested on animals, all ingredients are approved for use in rise-off & leave-on applications. It combines the excellent skin care and deodorising properties of ethylhexylglycerin with the moisturi- sing and antimicrobial properties of caprlyl glycol.
Use Level: 0.3% to 1.5 %.La’PHEN DB (INCI : Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzoic Acid+ **)
La’PHEN DB is a complete liquid preservative system that does not contain any formaldehyde, halo-organic components,or paraben. It is effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and mold. The pH of finished formulations should be 6 or below for effective utilization of these compounds as antimicrobial agents. The components are approved worldwide.
Use Level: 0.2% to 1.2%.La'PHEN DS (INCI: Dehydroacetic acid, Benzoic acid, Sorbic acid, Phenoxyethanol+ **)
It provides multiple preservative options to the personal care formulator. None of the blended products have been tested on animals, all ingredients are approved for use in rise-off & leave-on applications.
